Found this dude running through my kitchen and saved it from my dogs. I thought it was just one of the tons of Agelenidae funnel weavers that love to wander through my house but it's definitely not.

It has the eye layout of a Hogna Carolinensis and I know we have em here. I was trying to check for eye shine but couldn't tell because of how small the eyes are. I'd say it's a little less than an inch in diagonal leg span, and the color in the pics are a good representation of how it looks in person.

Location is Northeastern Arizona, along the I-40 near the New Mexico border.

Time to get a better camera.

Needs better resolution... medial band isn't right for carolinensis though. Definitely a wolfie.

Yeah, I need a new camera. Thanks for the info. Usually INaturalist can tell me even with my awful pics, but no such luck this time.

I'll try and get some better ones tonight.

Gladicosa gulosa maybe? There's another similar one I can't think of.
