I received some nice juvenile Damon diadema whip scorpions from Tarantula Canada a couple of weeks ago. Here is a nice photo of one of them making friends with a 2 week old cricket (aka dinner).

I've come to realize that I take inordinate pleasure in watching my critters enjoy their food. I guess that makes me either motherly or demonic, depending on whether you are the cricket or not. :angelic:

Cheers,
EC

Nice shot! My D diadema never eat in front of me:sarcasm:. The prey will turn into bolus the next day though...

One of mine is like that...not the best feeder and never in front of me. The other two will start hunting as soon as prey is available...very interesting to watch!
