Reminds me of Jazz, who passed away ten years ago. A really big version of Jazz. Have you tried house training it yet? As dubious as that sounds, our bunny was used to using one specific area, and could roam free without risk of poops everywhere.

Where would one be able to get a flemish giant? I remember looking extensively a few years ago with no luck at all. About how much does a young one cost?

The National Federation of Flemish Giant Rabbit Breeders keeps a breeder's directory; you may have luck there. However, rabbits bred for show and color type rather than food purposes tend to be pricey (a quick glance suggests to me that a well bred one can run around $100). They are also sometimes available at auction for meat purposes, so keep an eye out there; our county fair, for example, holds an auction for meat rabbits after judging. You can usually get them comparatively cheaply, depending on the weight, there. They are definitely available sometimes via rabbit rescues like House Rabbit Society, and "cull" specimens (below showing weight) may be available from breeders as well.

Lucy, if I recall correctly, was rescued from a negligent meat farm by her former owner (who does rabbit rescue).

OH I LOVE Flemmish giants! My fiance wants one badly, but we have two mini rex tricolor rabbits (male and female, both fixed of course). They're a bit bigger than normal mini-rex though, but they're not from a breeder so we don't know if they're 100% mini or not.

One was a rehome from a coworker. Her son bought the girl for her 4 year old grandson, and they kept it in a 29 gallon high tank. The thing was almost the size of the tank! they kept a weight on top of the screen and one day the rabbit bumped the screen and the weight rolled off and onto the kid's toe, breaking it, so that's how I wound up with a buddy for my boy. It was by complete chance that they'd be the same exact colors and breed!

He lost a lot of the fluff he had as a baby and was left with cheek tufts and something I can only describe as a giant eyebrow running down his face between his eyes (gotta love the unibrow). His hair varies between long in front and short in back :? . His personality is all Flemish though.

I wouldn't mind having a purebred Flemish.
OMG!!!! He is adorable! I love the fur pattern on his head!!!!
