This is Lucy my new flemish giant... and i know they are a meat rabbit but none of you can eat her or make off color comments about how good she would taste!:embarrassed:

she is about 17 lbs i would guess and is a total sweety!
Its funny because she dwarfs my cats and there is NOTHING small about my cats.

classy:rolleyes: but seriously i think she may be a booser. she hangs out next to the wine most of the time and even tries to climb up onto it.

Lucy is simply glorious. I'd sooner eat someone that makes deliberately inflammatory remarks about people's pets than such a fantastic animal ;) (P.S. - Before anyone comments about her toenails, we cut them today!)

NICE! We have a flemish also, her name is Penny-Wyse just a bit lighter brown. She was evil at first when she was a baby. But now she is great! Also have a holland lop, Lilley-Diamond. Is this your first bunny? I love mine!

its my first in a long time. we had one back when i was in elementary school and one day after class i went downstairs to see him and he was gone. i asked my parents where he was and they didn't pull any punches... "We hated him so we gave him to a farm!" parents... can't live with them! can't get free food, lodging and money without them!

THAT IS WRONG! We had them as kids then after 20 years I got the lop, about 3 years ago. We made them nice wood cages and they live in the house and get along with all the other critters. I think they are great pets.

She's beautiful. I have a lionhead/Flemish cross. He's not as big as a Flemish but he is big and has a great personality.

She is stunning! I've always wanted a rabbit. Maybe someday when I'm able to I'll look into this breed.

ex roommate had a flemish and english lop. Hugh Bunny (the flemish) is a beautiful steel boy and is a little nutty and very vocal. The lop was older and passed away recently. My guinea pig would run around the living room with them. She loved to groom Wooly Bunny (the lop).

He lost a lot of the fluff he had as a baby and was left with cheek tufts and something I can only describe as a giant eyebrow running down his face between his eyes (gotta love the unibrow). His hair varies between long in front and short in back :? . His personality is all Flemish though.

I wouldn't mind having a purebred Flemish.

Odd question, but do rabbits of this size have respritory or circulation problems?
