Hey! Ive been looking to add a couple jumping spiders to my collection. I've been trying to locate some Hyllus Diardi and Phidippus Regius and havent had luck. Can anybody help me out and send me in the right direction? Everywhere Ive checked they've all been sold out for the last few weeks. Are they out of season? Any help would be much appreciated! Im also open to other species of jumping spiders as well. Thanks!!!

Phidippus should be easy to find, especially the more common species like regius, audax, otiosus.
H. diardi is slightly trickier, but there are quite a lot jumping spdier breeders who have them.
I believe most of the jumping spider breeder community is focused in Facebook, so you might have more success searching there

Hey there,
I just purchased two Phidippus regius from Ophelia the Monster and Phantastic Phids. They may be out of stock now but I'm not certain- they don't always list animals on their website. You'll have to message them on Facebook for availability. Zelda's Phids also has some in stock I believe, last I checked she had some orange males and black and cream female regius.
Reason why you haven't been able to find any is because their popularity has exploded and supply doesn't meet the demand. Also, it is harder to ship in hot temperatures, so breeders probably aren't breeding as much as they would during cooler months-- although that's just conjecture on my part.
Hope that helps!
EDIT: Oops, World of Phids is out of stock. Jan Logg (https://www.facebook.com/jan.logg) used to breed them, not sure if she still does. Wouldn't hurt to message her about it!
