Jumping spider ID

I found a spider. I am going to describe it the best I can and see if that gets us anywhere but I am going to try and take a picture as well. Its black with a white pattern on its abdomen. But its mouth parts resemble that of a mantis. They are majorly disproportionate to the rest of the spiders body. Any ideas? I am going to try and take a picture but this guy is fast and kinds small.

quite possibly phidippus audax "daring jumping spider" but yeah pics will help more.

8 years later I make it back to post the pics. The little bugger bit me to. Mild tingling in my finger for a few minutes and that was it, suprised me thats for sure.

hmm it's not p.audax,not sure on that 1,cool little bugger though.

Looks like Phiddipus audax to me, and yes, they will readily bite you, but the venom isn't harmful in the slightest. Make good captives.
