Jumper ID?

I caught one liek this one a week ago, and I was wondering if you guys can give me a ID on it?

Ahh I can't believe I put this in the wrong area.....Can a mod please move it to the true spider area?

Seriously, though: It is unlike any Jumper I've ever seen, so I could not begin to ID it.

I didn't keep the one in this picture, But I have another one just like it. Hm I wonder what it is? I have looked at a lot of jumper pics and I couldn't find it.

The furthest I could to identifying it is the genus Maevia-

Seems it's not a very well known jumper! You should add your picture to buggguide! It'd be nice to have another image of the same sort of jumper for when a guide page is made for them. :D

Pretty cool that both were found in Texas. :D I'll try to find out more about these guys.

You join the website, then find the submit an image button in the ID request section. Though I'm pretty sure you could just submit it to the Maevia section directly. When submitting the image, you fill out the form with the details and your done. :D

Oh and be sure to crop the image so it's just the jumping spider filling the frame.
