my first millipedes just arrived today as a freebie to my P antinous slings they are some really good looking Millipedes!
I wanted to know what you feed your millipedes? & how many times a week to feed them?
housing them is pretty easy they just burrow & crawl around do they need a big container??
ill try to do some research on my own but I got 20 chapters of buisiness homework due in 4 days... so ill be very busy!!!
from research.. I know they eat carrots & cabbage ..
thanks!

They are pretty content on a diet of rotting leaves. You can supplement them with rotting wood from hardwood trees and dried cat/dog/fish food and bits of fruit or veggies. Leaves are the mainstay. A couple millipedes will not eat much of the supplements. A gallon sized tank is fine, but slightly larger is slightly better. A ten gallon is probably overkill.

leaves from outside are ok if you're sure they aren't from a pesticide treated area. freezing or cooking works. I prefer freezing them for at least 3 days, since there's no potential fire hazard there.
