After a few years ive seen quite a bit of molting, but its still a nice surprise.

This week:

Avicularia versicolor
Poecilotheria rufilata
Poecilotheria striata
Psalmopeus cambridgei

And, if im lucky, Poecilotheria fasciata as well, though I think she has a little more time left.

This month:

[a bunch of]Brachypelma albopilosum
Cyriopagopus "thorelli"
Haplopelma lividum

that's fantastic! my t-blondi molted on the same day that i discovered that the h. longgidum? had buried and not eaten the pinky mouse that i gave him? this caused a tiny infestation of baby blowflies in my house the night the blondi molted. this = dead blondi by day three. yes, i had changed her cage. but we are picking up some more slings next weekend...let me know if you need anything;)

jesus! just in the past couple days (without me even seeing it really) i've had:

2 chacos (on the same day)
4 rosea (1 molt, 3 pre)
3 P.ruf (over 2 days)
2. H.gigas (1 pre)
2 A.avic (pre )
2 A.vers (on the same day)
1 B.albo (possibly pre)

now we're just waiting for about 125 more and we'll be set :)

Hey Vayu Son..........

Has your Paraphysa scrofa molted or grown any of late?;) My Chilean Copper just molted, after a long wait of course, and I am a bit surprised how much size it picked up in the process!:) I think it almost picked up 1/2"! It looks quite leggy now, though I would not confirm it to be male yet. But it looks really great, such a bright copper color, it is stunning, and it has this brilliant spot of red on the beginning of it's opisthosoma. The colors have definately improved greatly after this shed. But , I did not expect such a growth spurt from this fellow, considering how slow they are. It eats like a pig though, anything I put in there! It is now about 1 1/2" in length.:D
