Are you using the Garden Basics 25L All Purpose Potting Mix? Just housed a tarantula with 40/40/10 (potting mix, cocofiber and red sand) in it today. I got the potting mix from Bunnings btw

i used it for a little while and my ts are fine but i emailed the company that makes it and they said it has some additives in it so i stopped using it ive been using the Zoo Med Tropical Bioblend Substrate Blend for Tropical Terrariums for my mature ts and my slings i just use the peat moss from brunnings pretty sure thats safe because everyone in Australia uses it
