is this normal ..

Hi all, im having my rosea for about 4 days now, and I bought him a nice lumb of wood today. He came off the ceiling of his container, and sits on the wood all the time, but he's doing something strange.

He is standing/sitting there wile moving his roht 2nd and 3rd legs under his body, to its mouth. He is also moving his fangs up and down... Is he just washing hisself of just licking his fingers because he just had a nice cricket??

spiders are still kinda strage to me ....

Many tarantulas will exhibit this behaviour. Some call it grooming, others call it preening? I think? all in all, nothing to worry about.

I've caught most of my tarantulas doing this at least once....

perfectly normal.

Ours do it after every meal.
It's adorable.
