I thought this was the web mat they usually put down.. If this is mold is this mold bad for the T?

Is that hot glue holding wire anchors on the temporal/zygomatic arches or is that bits of raw meat? Baking might discolor the skull. You should try a 10% bleach dunk. But if that thing still has meat on it... :sick:

Where do you see the meat? I'm looking at the skull and I don't see anything? I'm pretty sure it's just discolored lol. I put hot glue there because it was pointy and I didn't want it to poke at the abdomen.

It's way too moist and stagnant in there. Add cross ventilation and replace the substrate.

It looks like you just have some cobweb mold in there. Nothing dangerous. Just an eyesore, but I think the tarantulas get put off by certain fungus. Some of it can be aggressive or be a portent their ancestors died from eons ago. Good husbandry folks here are not going to have any of it though. You can have the most butt ugly enclosure display, as long as you don't have any parameters off they will likely leave you be. Nothing in life is guaranteed though.
