My pet shop owner gave this to me. It was found here in So. Cal. Anybody know what it is? (Besides awesome looking!)

Terri, I hope you don't mind me answering this here, but yes I do have them here Elizabeth. In fact, the one I have now in an arboreal type setup is a male. You guys see where I'm going with this, right? I've talked to several people who've kept them as pets for over 5 years, which is much better than their average lifespan in the wild, as here in Oklahoma, they die after the first frost.Elizabeth said:Wayne, don't you have any of those in OK? The males are a lot harder to spot, so she'll just be with you to the end if you don't get a male somewhere, somehow. And yes, these are great spiders! I take extra care of them in my garden, try not to destroy webs when watering, etc. The kindergarten kids loved the ones I brought in last year. Spider-love early!
