Is this a good Centipede setup?

If you get a species that needs a humid enclosure I recommend you get springtails or isopods. I learned real fast that a humid enclosure promotes lots of mold growth.

Alright. Thanks! While we're at it, are tall plastic plants ok? Are the usual snake clamps (used for holding down the lid so a strong animal doesn't rip it free) ok, or should I pile books on top instead?

And, lastly, is a Giant 'pede's mandibles strong enough to shred the usual thick wire-screen top like a Camel Spider's are?
Unfortunately, since I've never owned a snake and I don't plan to own one (here in Italy all venomous snakes were banned decades ago when I was a children, and I'm not interested at all into the legit non venomous ones, such Boa etc) so I don't have a clue about those clamps :)

What I used for my 'pede, as enclosure, is a XL (but more 'XL', let's say, than the average T's enclosure ones) clear plastic dress storage-box made by KIS, an Italian brand.

As decor, I use only fake leaves - sounds pretty dumb to use fake leaves if I think that my 'pede is a Vietnam, or who knows which Asian nation, WC specimen but hell... safety first, plus I have tons of those - but they are not taller at all.

Remember: 'pedes can 'move/push' what you offer inside for make a sorta 'bridge-ladder', if they wants

Isopods can and almost always will eat your 'pede when it molts. Anything larger than T. tomentosa (and I don't even trust those) can cause fatal or crippling injuries that can take years to heal. If you use something like P. scaber or Armadillidium, I recommend you remove all of the isopods as soon as possible.

Springtails are a much better option and all of my enclosures are fully stocked with springtails. They do a reasonable job of mold removal despite the fact they are so small.
