Is the himalayan earth tiger (H himalayana) worth it?

I've been looking into them and what I've learned is that there's not much known about them but their characteristics seem pretty interesting as a terrestrial/fossorial heavy webber.

I can get a 1/2 sling rn for about $30

I don’t keep old worlds so can’t comment on the species. However I wouldn’t buy a species just because it’s cheap. I buy species based on my preferences.

If you find it interesting and attractive then do what ever you feel is best!

Great OW tarantulas. I loved mine, but sadly she passed. She was a full grown adult and lived to the very end. Great tarantula with a very unique long abdomen. I think they're worth it are more interesting for an OW than some other OW T.'s out there.

I think it would be worth it if you wanted something a little different. Pictures don't really do them justice. They are quite beautiful in person. I've been temped in the past! Not a bad price, too. But ultimately up to you.

I should be receiving it today so I'll see.

That's what I was told about the P Muticus and it turned out to be false
or perhaps your set up in't allowing it to do its thing.
I make deep fossorial set ups and allow them to do their thing, so my fossorial species wind up quite comfortable while I get a nice hole, or perhaps I get lucky and the burrow is against the glass

What I was thinking too. @Wolf135 why do you think so? Really curious.
