Is Pamphobeteus insignis (Colombia) "Colombian Purple Bloom" the new scientific name for Pamphobeteus sp. "Machala"?

Or is P. sp. "Machala" a different species thats also called "Purple Bloom"?

Trying to figure out if my sling has been formally described yet.

Machala is a City in Equador

Pamphobetheus sp. 'machala' was collected close to that city

i haven't heard anything about their range extending to colombia, so not sure where you got that from

It was based soley on both of them having "Purple Bloom" as common names. More specifically me having a Machala sling that was labeled Purple Bloom, and the user advert on this site for the Columbian Purple Bloom.

I was just curious if Machala finally got described, or if there are just multiple Ts with that specific common name.
