Is my tarantula healthy?

This is the best photo I could get, but I'm concerned as to whether or not the size of my tliltocatl albopilosus's abdomen is healthy or not. She's a juvenile(?) who's molted once and about 8-10 months old. Also, should I just be misting her tank or should I set something for her to drink water from? (Like a bottle cap or such)

She looks like a normal tarantula to me! And yes, she needs a small water dish, like a bottle cap. Generally this species likes their substrate to be dry, so putting it in a dish provides them with water while keeping it dry in there.

Misting is perfect if you want to kill it

they don’t all use a dish use one!, may need to add water drop wise to webbing, surfaces etc perhaps

A tarantulas health is not determined by the size of the abdomen. All tarantulas are thin after molting and fat before.....both and everything inbetween is perfectly normal and healthy...abdomen size merely indicates where it is in the molt cycle.

You don't.....don't pay attention to humidity numbers.

Just keep part of the substrate damp if it's really dry by you. When it dries out, repeat. But if you're not in a dry climate, you can just keep it predominantly dry with a water dish.

You don’t. There’s only a handful of species where this is critical.

I have an AF albo, kept dry with water dish, that’s it.
