Is it ok to feed cauliflower leaves to crickets and is misting my acids tank bad

i have recently been feeding my crickets cauliflower leaves and been giving the crickets to my Avic and lizards, is this ok?

Also I recently misted my pink toes tank and the substrate is wet (not soaked) is this bad for this T? Also there's not much in the tank including a water fish because I was feeding him and didn't want the cricket to hide

Not really an expert on what to feed feeders. I can't see it being an issue. I feed my roaches Pro Rep Bug Grub.

Forget about misting and put in a water dish. Also as far as I'm aware the golden key to Avics is ventilation. What's the lid on that enclosure look like?

Your setup needs a lot of work before your T ends up dead at some point. I strongly suggest you click on the link in my sig file.

Misting is not too helpful, because you cannot always know when a T is thirsty. It won't kill your T, unless you mist too much. Moist, stagnant air kills Avics faster than lightning. Your setup is one that can generate such an environment. You need a water dish.

However, there are times when Avics won't drink from a dish.

Removing items is NOT necessary, these animals are hunters. I watch mine hunt regularly, from 1/8" to 6" DLS.

Why are you using cauliflower? If you don't know why, beyond moisture, I'd make sure you know what they are eating is safe for other animals.

im using cauliflower because I read it was good food for the crickets I just wanted confirmation

I've never used it, doesn't mean it isn't good hah.

Metal mesh for Ts, BAD idea. Replace with acrylic, drilled holes for ventilation.

I was goin to change him over to this tank would that be better? Also I am very new to this whole tarantula owning thing. I can't change him into. New tank till tomorrow tho because he's eating. by the way I do have a water fish I just took it out because the crickets were getting under it.

I do have a water fish I just took it out because the crickets were getting under it.

There's an easy way to solve this. feed it one cricket, drop it near the T and watch it devour it.

IMO that looks much better than what you currently have. I'd still remove a couple of bits of wood though and trade them for some foliage if you can.

Regarding cauliflower, I have fed my crickets the leaves many a time, whenever I do a roast dinner, its a good way to get rid of peelings and stuff. The crickets seem to like the cauliflower leaves and my Ts don't seem any worse off for being fed crickets full of cauliflower.
