is an 80 or 120 watts heating bulb better for a rainbow millipede (uk)

its often cold where i am so i know they will require a heating lamp or coil of some sort but wasn't sure what watts to get. im not open to heating pads as i know they burrow when they are to hot.

Both will warm the substrate but the bulb wastes some of it's power in visible light. Best is get an ordinary light dimmer and dial in the temperature you want.

How warm is the room you'll be keeping them in?

Heating enclosures has come up Several Times over the last few weeks.
Look through previous threads for in depth discussions on this subject.
Search function - Upper Right is also a Great Tool.
I suggest a space heater.
