lol, has anybody tried asking a petstore where they get thier Ts? B/c i dont want to walk in there and boldly ask "Where do you get your Ts?" and they think i am questioning them in a way not ought to be questioned and get offensive
I always make sure I know where my suppliers are getting their stock. All you have to do is ask them if they are Wild Caught or Captive Bred, and if they are bred you could even venture to ask who the breeder is. However, they will probably be reluctant to give you the Breeder's info, since that would mean no profit for the store.

However, you could do like I (plan to) do: special order the T's you want through the store. The one I frequent gets their stock straight from a breeder, and if you want anything all you have to do is ask them and they will try to get t for you. Pretty nity!

How big are your lilguys?
About 1"

They stopped eating so I was hoping they would molt, but no :( Yesterday I had to move them to a new home, the quart jars weren't getting enough ventilation and mold started to grow at the bottom, so I moved them to new containers and went ahead and fed them a cricket which they readily munched on.

IME, once Avic's get to about 2 inches or so, they are pretty hardy, so don't be too worried about "Sudden Avic Death" (SAD :( too much. Small slings do tend to be a little on the fragile side though. Lots of good advice on this post, so just remember, humidity AND ventilation, taller container w/ something to climb on and make web. This is one species where it's perfectly OK to mist the container occasionally, and do keep the substrate moist. Also, many people raise the water container up closer to where the T usually hangs, you can use some aquarium sealant or hot glue gun to attach a holder to the side of the tank. Not sure it's absolutely necessary to have it up high, just make sure that water is available. And the price is fine, you're almost always going to pay more at a pet store. But, no shipping, and immediate gratification sometimes make it worthwhile. I'll occasionally buy T's from a local pet store here, just to support their efforts they've taken (at my urging) to get in CB stock that is well taken care of and quit selling WC MM G. roseas. Go buy your new T!!!

Yes, Kevmaster06, I misread the "2" meaning "to". Oh well, I'm old, I'm excused. Did you bring the T home yet?
I have not brought it home yet... my father is being quite relucnant to letting me get another T, although im paying for everything except gas. Because he thought that OBT meant pink toe for some reason so he is still adjusting to the thought of a cute and not cuddly T.
