Hi,
I have searched the web, and this forum, for this info, but cannot find it. maybe i just dont know where/how to look.......

Was wondering what you should look for on a female tarantula, to know if it is mature and/or ready to breed? are there certain physical attributes to look for......?can you only guess based on age......?

thanks for any help .......matt

I asked this question last week. Its all about size. Noting smaller than a mature male, or 4 inches. ( at least for my GBB )

usually a good way to tell is by size of carapace compared to males,if its similar size or bigger than its worth a shot.
