in need of a good reference

i need help with the taxonomy of spiders and tarantulas...does anyone know a site or book i could study to become more knowledgeable as far as orders, suborders,families, subfamilies, genuses, and species and stuff....thanks

Tarantula Keeper's Guide by Schultz & Schultz. I think MrD has a link about it on the site.

It gives you some good info without being overwhelming. Unfortunately, the scientific names change and the info may not be up to date.

Hi Nathan. Just run a search on Google.com for phrases like "tarantula suborder" or "arachnid order" etc. and you'll find a ton of info.
