In my time of need

My girlfriend went on a walk today and often brings me bugs to identify, I normally have no problems quickly finding the species or a near enough guess on Google. However I'm much better at identifying Spiders, I am slowly improving my skills in identifying moths and butterflies.
I have spent the whole day desperately trying to identify this thing.
Is it an isopod? A millipede? A glow worm?! Some weird roach?
I DO NOT KNOW!
Please enlighten me good people of the arachnoboards before I lose the last remnants of my sanity.

The larval stages are difficult to ID a lot of the time. Glad to help.
