However, mods reactions are always notified, and they sometimes use this work around to abuse and harass.
If you're saying that a moderator (or more) are "abusing and harassing you" via reactions to your posts (I'm not sure what constitutes abusing someone via reactions as opposed to reacting because they dislike/disagree with your post but that's probably a "me" issue), I'm sure @Arachnopets , @MrDeranged @Satanika would be interested in seeing the details via PM.

Hopefully the person not only reacted but also added a post.
Ideally, this might be nice, but definitely not required. Sometimes the reactions speaks for itself, and is nothing more that simply that.

I suppose this boils down to personal opinion.
100% Correct.

But when giving a reaction it's always nice to add a little post to explain your reaction.
Again, not always warranted nor required. You might be focusing and reading into this way too much. Just because someone dislikes or disagrees with you, it does not mean they have to explain why.

The intent of the reactions is simply so we do not have a million "I agree" or similar type posts. The intent is to cut down on the "fluff" nonsense type posts. Nothing more, nothing less. You are giving it too much weight, IMHO.
