If someone uses the ignore fuction on a member, and another member “quotes” the ignored person in a post, will the person who ignored the member see the “quoted” post?
Thank you, i didnt know where else to post this and figured here would be okay. I will try to get an answer. But if i am the one ignored, it might not be obviousGreat question. We can only assume that it might be possible. However, we have not tested this specific scenario. If you find out, please do let us know.
this is helpful. That muted microphone does share insight. I suppose i should ask members to ask the suspected ignoring member to tell us.Yeah, I think you can see it, or maybe you see a quote box and you can click "show ignored member's comment." I really haven't used it that much, but it does make life so much better when someone keeps antagonizing.
EDIT: Found one of mine. Looks like this: View attachment 489790 Name crossed out for privacy or whatever.
yes. I learned what i needed to know.I do not see their posts on a thread (or threads they start) at all, unless someone else quotes them, then I see the quote attributed to them but not what it says. I can un-ignore the specific quote if I click on it. I can also click on their post history and intentionally un-ignore posts if I go and find them, but I have to search them out. Hope that's helpful.
Sorry nothing to with when questions just wanted to point out it's function not fuction, that's not a word lol.If someone uses the ignore fuction on a member, and another member “quotes” the ignored person in a post, will the person who ignored the member see the “quoted” post?
