I would really like to buy some nicer looking enclosures for my adult terrestrials (A. Hentzi, T. Albo, and more in the future). I want something that looks nicer in the room than a steralitr, but not wanting to spend $100 a piece for some that I’ve seen. I’ve seen a few acrylics online but lost are too small. I figured you guys would have ideas on where to find them or links how to make a diy nice looking adult terrestrial enclosure. Thanks!

DreamCo plastics does custom work at reasonable (IMO) prices. My 8" cube (1/4" acrylic) was $35 and the quality is fantastic. It's super clear and came packaged so well. You just have to email them for a quote.

Ebay has several cheap acrylic enclosures that look pretty good around the $35-40 range. I think the Dreamco stuff might be a little nicer for the same price though.

I looked at those actually. Shipping is $20 for me though which still puts the large one at $65. I may still go that route though.

The biggest I’ve seen on eBay is 13.7x9.8x9.8. Not sure that’s big enough?

I like those vents, but thats a bit expensive for an AMAC box.

It should be okay for A hentzi and other small to medium terrestrials (see @Kitara ’s picture of the 8x8x8). I have an AF GBB in a 10x10x10. I’ll try to get a picture tonight.

What about a T. Albo?

Are there any hobby lobby boxes big enough for an adult terrestrial? T. Albo?

When I emailed them for a custom build quote, they quoted a lower ($15) shipping than was quoted for any of the ones listed on their site.

Did you like the enclosure you got? What size did you get? I’m Thinking I may buy through them.

I always check LetGo and other resell sites for nice enclosures people dont want. And if you have a reptile store near you they probably have old enclosures that just need some cleaning up. I know my local one is always selling nice enclosures they dont have space for that are nice and just need to be wiped clean

I am also currently looking for something other then a 12x12x12 exo terra with similar size but with more length to it and in a totally clear acrylic. Jamie’s adult enclosures are a bit small and very expensive. Anyone know of anything That comes with holes already and won’t cost an arm and a leg? I know there’s got to be something out there that fits the bill. I have a lot of these exo terras and would like a change of scenery.

I checked out the dreamco stuff and it’s not bad. Wish they were a little taller though. The 10x10x5 is a great price but 5 inches is just too short. The 16x10x6 is a little better but is almost twice the price. There’s not much on eBay except the puzzle piece enclosures that fit together but they look cheap IMO.
