That is is a young S.subspinipes.
Why is it a Sc.subspinipes ? :?
What subspecie is it and how can I know it?
i think we first have to know 100% sure what the spec. is before getting to the subspec. ;)
It comes from Hawaii
sorry for beeing so critical,.. :8o
but are you sure it's WC in Hawaii ? or was it sold as Sc.spec. "Hawaii" ?

I'm really just guessing here,... don't shoot me if i'm wrong
but couldn't it be that the specimen is a Scolopendra alternans,... wrongly ID'd as Spec. Hawaii ?

Hi steven, that pede is not mine. At first instance I thought also that it is a S. alternans but the boy that own the pede, are sure of the ID and the procedence. ( Me like always, I don't know What I have to think. First instance, S.alternans).

Foguetting this case, In a Hipotetical really sure 100% S. subspinipes, how can I diference the subspecie ( just subspinipes infron of dehanni, the other 6 subspecies are not so comon to learn it yet) looking the prefemoral spines?

Pictures or draws will be welcome.

Cheers

cuz the prefemur is covered in lots of relatively small spikes?
yes :), subspinipes would have 2 to max 3 spines there
(to answer Carles original answer)
subsp. dehaani would have none.
