Add plants for the nitrates and nitrites, but I don't know what to do about ammonia levels, though.

I live in Iowa and I was involved in a marine biology program my senior year of high school. Since we're a landlocked state, the only live specimens we were able to get came from local aquarium shops.

I was in charge of 2 $10,000 reef tanks

I know my stuff pretty well.
