all i know is that this scorpion came from kenya not sure what specie it is

I'd say its a Hottentotta hottentotta, but I'm no expert so get some other opinions also.

Hmmmm, Kenya you say . . .
Either Hottentotta hottentotta or Hottentotta trilineatus. Remember, H. trilineatus can be dark, and the darker ones usually come from Kenya. I'm still leaning toward H. hottentotta because of the patterning, but I'm no expert.

Okay. Yeah, between the two pics, I'd say Hottentotta hottentotta. The heavily defined ridges on the pedipalp segments would tend to indicate away from the entire polystictus/trilineatus/eminii mess.

I`ll lean towards Hottentotta hottentotta. But these are , from what i`ve heard , a very difficult spp. to identify correctly. This will be a fun one. Nice pics!!!
