Very sorry for your loss pategirl. I didn't want to be doom and gloom yesterday, because when there is life there is hope, but with regards to the posterior plug up, the ATS Arthropod Medical manual says:

"Regardless of treatment, tarantulas afflicted with (this) condition die within a few months after it is first noticed".

I'm way ahead of you, hehe. They got in a nice looking something or other at the pet shop(they called it a Brazilian furry birdeater). I don't know exactly what it is, but it's nice looking and not something I have already. There's a show this weekend too.
