I got fed up of not being able to see egg so upgraded (possibly a little early). I spent ages setting up the enclosure and made places to hide in an area the same size as the pot he /she was in. I put some cut up mealworm in and watched as egg threw hairs at all my hard work and stomped off slowly to the "boring" end.

It's stressed and is probably going to hide for a while while it adjusts to the new environment.

I agree. It'll likely just need some time to acclimate. Leave it be for a week or two and eventually it'll start feeling at home.
