I did a quick check on vibe after the moult, the fangs are in tor red phase so not ready for food …he (I’m going with he from the moult) is now a lot more mobile and has sped up walking around… I discovered something cool… which is probably no surprise to experienced keepers but, I had no clue the it underside is slightly blue! I’m loving the new burst of speed lol and he has webbed up the new enclosure, including the water bowl but still hasn’t started a burrow.

Here’s some constructive criticism on communication

The name of your tarantula is not important when you don’t provide the Latin species name

When they describe physical features it’s critical to have species, otherwise it’s meaningless.
Not completely... You can appreciate how cool it is to see the difference of ANY spider pre-moult to post, & he's just happy to share that aspect of it. We can all appreciate seeing that first hint of a new color... knowing the species is, of course, preferred, but he wasn't asking any questions, just saying how cool the situation was, LoL.

I get you though, it's always preferable to have it included. And I'm always going to read your posts with a German accent, LoL

Lol this thread took a dramatic turn....
i wanted to put a laugh emoji but i can only use thumbs of for now.

for the record, its good to notice the fang color, it means youre learning and doing your research.

you can wait to put live food. But after a week, if its a small tarantula, you can put a soft prekill. Especialy those that just molted and are “whiteish”. the flesh is softer.

live prey is the dangerous thing because spider might have to fight it. In any case, waiting to feed is never a bad choice. If it molted, it had all it needed to do so. And with water available, it can hydrate itself until you provide food.

you can also unweb the bowl to avoid wicking. Or drop water droplets on it if its thick enough.

As an austrian i take slight offense. Germany and austria have a dramatic rise in extreme right wing popularity and it's a desaster of unknown proportion. 😞
