The adult picture on the Rick West site shows a Very pale adult male.
Blanched, but it has that red stripe on it's abdomin. No pictures of an adult female.
But I'm guessing that the species doesn't keep those amazing markings at maturity correct?

The slings are wild looking though. :)

Bill,
Nice spider, I am a proud owner of this species. A very nice species to have!! You are right about the colors being their high point. They are a hyper, fast, and aggressive species. I would recommend that everyone on this forum purchase one of these beauties. Aggressive feeders too!!

So would you keepers of this species consider it similar to Psalmopoeus or Taphinauchenius as far as care, habit, and attitude goes?

I would consider it similar in keeping to an Avicularia. As a matter of fact it might have once been in the Avicularia genus, then moved. It tends to like it a bit drier than other arboreals. Temperament wise I'd compare it to the Psalmopoeus, quite defensive and fast.
