mine doesn't mind it when i do stuff in the tank or when corral her so i can take pictures but every so often she will strike at the forceps and just because of that i won't handle her
Sarah, is there any way you can get a good ventral pic?True, which is why I'm sadly going to have to wait for the next molt.... *sniff*...
Actually, I've been trying but the built-in flash on my Canon is giving me a fit, which means I have to shoot from an angle that won't reflect the flash back into my camera's lens - thus blinding me and ruining an otherwise decent pictureSarah, is there any way you can get a good ventral pic?
Hey, I'm not worriedNo kidding. I wouldn't reccomend getting the hang of taking it out to hold it cause it decided to be calm just once.
Mine doesn't mind when I go in the tank to do routine maintenance, but I was extremely careful in how I handled it. I never forced it into anything or pushed it. I just allowed the Pokie to walk onto my hand, and I slowly rolled my wrist to get it used to the movement so it wouldn't freak out on me and go flying when I got up to take pictures. It seemed very calm, almost that of a Grammostola. I placed my hand on the peat moss after I was done taking pictures, and it calmly walked right off.mine doesn't mind it when i do stuff in the tank or when corral her so i can take pictures but every so often she will strike at the forceps and just because of that i won't handle her
