Wow xsyorra, that is a beautiful avic too! I'm tired of the only avics I see being poor little pet store rescues, 8 dollar WC dehydrated little things. I may have to order a sling and raise it up. I'm trying to get away from WC.

I dont think their abdomen gets orange.. They dont look black as slings either.. You sure you have an Avic. sling?

its not that tiny lol, tiny as in like 3 inch leg span. Compared to my G. Rosea, who is already an adult, hes very small hehe.

They are awesome! I love my little pink toe , cute little guy (i think its a guy haha, i did manage to get a picture of underneath him but its too dark to sex him lol, the picture is in my pictures ;D)

My A.avic is very similar to yours in color Although mine is in bad need of a molt at the moment.

Yours must be absolutely gorgeous right after a molt!!! That pic of Eva was taken about a week or so after a molt, and recently fed. When she needs a molt, she turns greenish-reddish-purple, and the setae on her abdomen get brick-red. The black hairs on her abdomen loses its sheen too.

I hope mine is, she/he hasn't molted in my care yet, so Im excited to see what she looks like. Hasn't eaten in 3 weeks now, so here's hoping. Right now she is just very dull, the black has a dull reddish tinge to it, and the blue is pretty dull too and has a greenish tinge right now.

Eva is gorgeous btw
