dude, why stick to mealies and waxes man? too fat! that was already covered! can o crix shouldnt be a main food source, leopard geckos dont get crickets served to them on a silver platter in the wild. feed CRICKTES with calcium, trust me man, i had 5 leopard geckos for a long time, i just sold two. ive had 5 years experience with leopard geckos, cricktes, crickets, crickets!!! too many mealies for a primary food source could and very well may cause fecal impactaion, ive had that problem already. crickets, get crickets.

yup the hide is easy, just get a glad container (cheap tupperwear) and put a decent size hole in one side, a little down from the top cause that'll be the bottom of the hide ,the lid will be the bottom i mean :) use a lighter or something to smooth out the edges, then put in some wet paper towels, and some moss if you can get some, but the paper towels will do until ya can get the moss, put it on the warm side of the tank, keep it misted, i'd advise taking it out to mist it, our lil one just hates the mister, she gets all hissy....hope that helps.

He still won't eat! I'm feeding crickets that are the right size, but he ignores them. How long can I leave one in there safely?

hi, try this site http://www.reptilerooms.com they have a forum just for leopard geckos, they have several suggestions for feeding, including mealies, supers and roaches....also if the lil guy is still having a hard time they have a slurry recipe too.
