My brother and I both got a Rosea on Friday. His Rosea moves around alot and webs up his surroundings. Mine doesn't and barely even moves the whole day. Did I get a defective Rosea? Is it because my brother's cage is bigger? Is my Rosea fixing to molt? Both of our Roseas have not eaten or drunk anything yet.

re

yeah rosies are funny like that, my old rosie would be all gentle and nice one day then be a psychopath the next, one time i looked in her cage and she was on her back getting ready to molt she must not have liked me watching she flipped back over and ran to her hide! she did'nt molt for another 4 months! and in that whole time i was tripping she was gonna die, rosies are just flat out weird when it comes to behavior,lol--Jeff

Its been my experience that a happy tarantula doesn't move much.

I wouldn't worry man... it is acting completely normal.
