I just ordered two Versicolor slings, and I'm already thinking about getting more. They're so beautiful, tiny, and...cheap! I hope to one day breed a male and female Versicolor. Does anyone else like one tarantula a lot?

I honestly thought this would stop at 1 sling. I was so dead wrong.

Versicolor is probably my favorite pinktoe species. Hard decision between those, and diversipes...
I have both females and so far the versi is my favorite it is slower and prettier if you ask me and the sapphire is way fast and flighty!

I'm not a fan of keeping Avicularia species, but A. versicolor I can make an exception for. I wouldn't ever buy a spiderling, but I managed to get a hold of 11 for free. If one or two will make it, I'd be satisfied.

They're definitely a bit more vibrant than many of my terrestrials.

Haha, you're turning into me. Cute. :p

I have... uhhmm... four little versis right now. Three tiny ones, and one about 1 1/2 inches. I LOVE them.

My favorite, other than male Platyomma.

I love them too, but they always die as slings for me. :(

A. Versicolor is one of my top three favs, very cool T ! My other two are P. Irminia and any pokie. (I have a Regalis but would love the Blue Beauty) What are the main problems with keeping A. Versicolors? I have about an 1.25versi and it eats like champ and seems to be doing really good.

My A. Versicolor is only about 3/4", but his color is already bright and he has the most personality of the 7 I have. He is such a cool little guy.

I'm sure I'll be getting another one of two of these in the near future.

Would like the next one to be a 3" - 4" though.

Take care

I got 3 vials and a 32oz. container, so anyone can sure as """" bet on me buying another 2-3 Versicolors if one dies and a guaranteed other T. But I never want an OW. That's too far.

They are awesome because they're so cute as slings,
(fuzziness + blue coloration)
and when they grow they're even more beautiful as they get their
adult colors. (Purple and green hues)

Also their personalities are usually great.

I love raising versicolor babies, never had a problem.

Make sure to have alot of ventilation and just because they like it
on the moist side does not mean make their home a swamp!
What you really don't want is for it never to get bone dry, but by no means
sopping wet :)

Honestly, I prefer slings more than adults.
