I'm still new at this hobby, and haven't had anything like this happen, though I've had a couple of close calls. It's threads like this that help newbies like myself prevent future mistakes from happening. Thanks for sharing you experience.

IF this accident saves others from doing the same thing , her death was not a total loss.
still, it sucks my male was a molt behind and she would have been breedable next molt i believe
