Don't be discouraged by anyone... I love seeing more of those rarer (for the hobby at least) species :worship: :worship: :D Whether they are brown, black (like most Avicularia,,,,, :D {D ) or rainbow coloured.

In fact they did have one Steve it was an Ischnocolinae I believe the only one found outside mainland Europe and a giant amongst it’s kin Pseudoischnocolus bipedalis Its a sad tale see the little people liked to use them as steeds (and also fight them) and this lead to crash in there population :( (that and there need to feed on the scrapings from inside stout barrels  ).

P.S Brown but with a nice Seleno sheen :D

HI,
I have 2 crassipes and a selenotypus .ssp and also about to have another selenocosmia.ssp.I had a selenocosmia .ssp before but its gone back to the person who gave it to me for research as its probably got a nematode or parasite of some sort inside it.
What t's do you have?

Hi,
I should add that Kyle was the first person known in Australia to have the Coremiocnemis sp. in captivity. I have that spider in my collection now and hopefully have just sorted out getting some more (providing they are the same I'll send you one Kyle :)) for CBing. These would have to be the most colourful T found in Australia. Not real large compared to say Selenocosmia crassipes (17cm), probably about 12-14cm....

Here's a pic of her:

Cheers,
Steve
