Put some aluminum foil over the mesh to trap in some humidity

What size of exo-terra?

My general advice:
Cover the vents under the door with electric tape (or something).
Use a solid lid instead of the default mesh, you can tape plastic or glass over the mesh for an easy fix.
Attach sphagnum moss to the background.
If there's room, adding a deeper layer of substrate helps, and maybe a pile of orchid bark. If you have a false bottom you can pour some water into that.

Ooh, I have one of those.
Covering the bottom vents and the mesh top was enough for me.
I also have 9cm of substrate that I keep moist, with no false bottom. I mist every few days, however, I live in a naturally humid climate.

I do always get some deep mold while a new setup is adjusting, but I haven't had any pop up in this one for a year now.
im nut super scared of spiders. ''big ones''= ill ask my dad to kill them, but harvest men creep me the duck out. roughly translagted we call them haywagons
