i was in class today when i saw a spider climb on me and i decided to make a little enclosure for her(?) to take care of her, she seems to be a child false widow tho im not sure, i wanna raise her and i did some research and i think it's okay if i feel her every once in a while but would ants be okay to feed her or should i try to catch some other kind of insects? how often should i give her water? cuz i have to manually give her water using the cap of my water bottle since her little enclosure is just a cardboard and plastic cups put on top of each other with breathing holes poked into it, is there anything else in particular i need to except feed her like crean the webs or something?

i regularly take her out to roam around on my body so the little enclosure shouldn't be a problem for now especially cuz she's small, i'll try to arrange something else as she grows tho

Please search here, there was a thread a couple weeks ago about their care. Very easy spiders to care for.

Here's a picture of my enclosure. Keep in mind, a jar is not ideal and is hard to clean. @darkness975 could advise you on better things to use. The black stuff is fishtank filter material, spiders love that stuff it's perfect for them to climb on.

Welcome,
Inexpensive / See Through / Plastic
Deli Containers come in all sizes, and make good enclosures.
Enjoy,

Also, are you in an area where there is a petshop? If you have a petshop they might have small crickets or fruit flies for sale.

Ants are not a good choice for prey. Use crickets or other soft bodied insects.

also she seems to be sleeping most of the time, idk if this is because there's not much to do in her enclosure oh if she needs anything, but she is really energetic other times so i assumed she was fine but idk if this is normal behavior or not

Hello! I currently have 3 Steatoda Triangulosa; however, I can't say for sure the type you have, but from my experience they're relatively easy to keep. When it comes to feeding if you have access to them, small crickets (preferably from a pet store) are what I usually feed but if you can't do that a small/medium soft bodied insect is also fine; however, that may be a gamble depending on pesticides. Enclosure wise you may want to look into something a little better like the deli cups mentioned before or a jar of some kind. Hope this helps!

(You may also want to look around the forum for more information)

This is my usual set-up for them:
