How to Sext Tarantula

Tarantula is just molting. I bought it without knowing the sex. What do I do with the molt after I am done with it to determine the sex. It is roughly around 3”. It is also a b. Boehmei. Any help is very appreciated, thanks!

There's a lot of links around both here on the boards and also Google - https://arachnoboards.com/gallery/categories/tarantula-sexing.3/ this section was created so you can post a photo of the moult and others can help identify if you're not quite sure how. Each species can be different in terms of their anatomy and some may be easier to sex than others, in which case it's a good idea to compare yours to some images you might find of others.

It's completely up to you what you do with the moult afterwards - many people like to mount them and use them as display pieces. However, you can just dispose of it if you want to.

I haven't seen any bills showing up. Do they use tiny throw aways?
