How to keep American Cockroaches

American roaches are the kings of food, they eat just about anything, so feeding is no problem. If you have a secure tank, that eliminates infestation.

But what setup and substrate are you supposed to use for them?

paper towel rolls and egg crates arent so good because they like damp places, and the paper would just rot and mold quickly and be a big hassle.

I been useing egg crates for 51 years on these never a problem this how to keep them potting soil 1 inch water bowl with a rock or cork bark in it bowl with dry cat or dog food feed these suckers apples they love them keep them dry and hot over fill the water bowl and thats it belive me it works this is my biggest selling feeder roach !!!!!!!!!!:clap: :clap: :clap: :drool: :drool: :drool:

Dear Roachman:

Could the same care directives apply to GERMAN cockroaches?
Baby "Germans" are very nearly too small to see.
They are also escape artists.
How CAN you clean a cage where they are...?

the only way to keep them in and I been doing this for 51 years is with vasiline:} :} :}
