I'm assuming this is a typo, and they don't actually have sacs of a million eggs, right?really....considering a genic sac can exceed 1000k little ones

correct.I'm assuming this is a typo, and they don't actually have sacs of a million eggs, right?![]()
Yeah b boehmeis here cost around 5 to 7 dollars while genics typicqlly cost around 15$. Avic sps and g pulchras here cost a fortune around 50$ a slingreally....considering a genic sac can exceed 1000k little ones, or more than twice what the Brachy could produce....and genic is easier to breed and pairings lead to resulting sacs about 3 times faster....thats bound to change at some point in the near future.
B. boehmei and A. genic look nothing alike and are pretty different as far as behavior and growth rates, so that'd be pretty dumb for someone to try and pass one off as the other.Yeah b boehmeis here cost around 5 to 7 dollars while genics typicqlly cost around 15$. That's true but not everyone that buys slings are super knowledgeable. also the slings that were sold were around the 2cm size, so it's hard to identify the colors.B. boehmei and A. genic look nothing alike and are pretty different as far as behavior and growth rates, so that'd be pretty dumb for someone to try and pass one off as the other. At least with the chromatus you'd possibly have some time before someone catches on and the jig is up...
Even then I think you might be able to tell. 2cm is just under an inch, and at 1" my A. geniculata was very obviously an A. geniculata and looks nothing like any Brachypelma sling I've had. That's true but not everyone that buys slings are super knowledgeable. also the slings that were sold were around the 2cm size, so it's hard to identify the colors.
I lived in PH and some guy sells me "A.genic" in a very cheap price (2 genic 1 LP for 9USD (500 pesos). And I am doubting that it is a A.genic.here were reports on facebook groups here in the philippines that there were people selling a supposed "A.Geniculata" but it turned out to be a B.Boehmei
I will also doubt with that low price. I'm also from PH and I got my genics at 9USD each because we bought it in bulk and from a breeder at my area.I lived in PH and some guy sells me "A.genic" in a very cheap price (2 genic 1 LP for 9USD (500 pesos). And I am doubting that it is a A.genic.
