How on Earth do you guys manage to keep humidity up?

I have over 40 B Smithi slings that are now all large. Haven't lost one yet. Some of them are in damp containers, some dry. The ones that are in wet containers I'm constantly tweaking by drilling more holes in their containers. Also, some of them keep tipping their water caps over. Tough little buggers.
Right on! If you're a spider, you don't live 30 years or better if you're a sissified wimp. These guys are definitely survivors.

IMO, I think is quite egocentric to always refer to your own articles, opinions and posts, Pikaia.

Probably correct, and I humbly beg your forgiveness.

If I had any single complaint about these message boards it would be that the posters do not use the search function anywhere near often or intense enough. Hence, we get the same repetitive questions asked over, and over, and over again. And, of course, that requires the same repetitive answers over, and over, and over again.

Citing my own "articles, opinions and posts" saves me a lot of redundant typing and helps prevent further hyperplasia/hypertrophy of the calluses on the tips of my two typing fingers.

BTW, on an interesting side note, some of you might be interested in reading about archy at http://www.donmarquis.com/archy/. He's a cockroach with a passion for poetry. And, he types it on an old manual typewriter by jumping off the top and landing on each key, one letter at a time. Because he can never hold down the shift key, he can never type caps or any of the upper case characters on the number and punctuation keys, so reading his stuff can be a bit daunting.

Since I have two index fingers, I don't have to jump off the top of the keyboard to effect a character, and I can always hold down the shift key to get at the upper case characters. My two biggest problems are egttign owt lettres revresed (I'm apparently mildly dyslexic), and ALWAYS ACCIDENTALLY HITTing the caps lock key. I wish that the raving geniuses in the computer industry would some day wake up and require a <Ctrl><Caps Lock> combination to help prevent that.

Oh, and I can't spel werth beens. Thank God for splle chekc.

Smithis are pretty hardy and can handle different ranges of humidity. As long as you mist a corner of their box (if they're little) or give them a water bowl, then your smithi should be fine. :)
