How often do you feed a sling/ and how do you get the FFF's into the enclosure!!!?

i agree roaches are easier for spiders. there is 1 more trick for making ff cultures (if you make your own) boil the water and add some Flax seed you can get it in bulk at a health food store. Flax seed (when lightly bioled) releaces a thick gel that holds together VERY well.

hmm didnt know that..what about like white rice? that gets pretty sticky if you let it boil the water out...

might work but plane white rice is not sticky rice though, and if you boil it it wont absorb as much water. but using it uncooked may work I'll try it next batch of FF I do for my dart frogs

oh to help with the original Q i put the whole culture in the cage and let them breed out as if its a little ecosystem so they can be eated as needed the excess ff may irritate a spider, but the frogs love it!

This is completely unhelpful, but I just had to say it ... until now, I honestly thought FFF stood for "(expletive) fruit flies." XD
