How much are they worth?

You can get a general idea by browsing http://www.spidersworld.eu/en/ and add around 5-10 € on those prices for average in germany prices.
Less then 50km from me I could buy right now G.Pulchra and G.Iheringi for 27€ each, H. Pulchripes 49€, P. Metallica 45€. You get the idea.

It's good for the collector but bad for anyone who would want to breed T's professional. Even as a side hustle it's not worth breeding most species.
You'd have to go for something like X. Immanis, P. Victori or other really rare spiders to make it worth your time and money.

:wideyed: Wow, those prices are pretty low.

I'm officially getting the A. bicoloratum, P. scrofa and P. irminia for 200. Still working out whether or not she'll sell me the N. incei, and the B. boehmei's a no-go.

I'm getting the N. incei for 30 bucks more. Not a bad price, really. Plus, there's a chance I'll be getting more than one. Apparently the enclosure was a former communal and the owner has no idea how many are left in there.

All in all, I'm paying about 58 bucks a tarantula. For nearly/fully mature spiders, all of which are likely female, it's a pretty good deal. Especially considering they're all desirable species. My main goal was definitely the A. bicoloratum, and I practically would have paid 200 for that one alone.

Lol it's okay, I understand. I saw unsexed and figured they would be slings/juvies as well. I was pleasantly surprised by the pictures.
Hmm.. some sizes would have been helpful.. ignore my suggestions

Ugh....I'm really upset right now....The person apparently emailed me yesterday night asking if this was a sure thing because they had other people interested. Stupid Craigslist and/or Yahoo did not deliver the mail until 20 minutes ago. What if they already made the decision to go with another buyer because I didn't respond quick enough? I sent them an email, but what if it's too late?

As the age old saying goes, if it's meant to be, it's meant to be..

Fingers crossed for you!

Thanks, looking at it that way kind of helps.

I've just been so very excited about getting what's practically the unicorn of the Aphonopelmas and now I'm crestfallen that the deal might fall apart 5 days before I get the tarantulas. I know that it's Craigslist and I should try to keep my expectations low since they're not as reliable as a tried and true breeder, but I just couldn't help it.

Oh I absolutely understand. I'd be excited if the word "tarantula" even popped up on craigslist in my area

And you never know, maybe tarantulas killed his father and he posts adds on craigslist to lure unsuspecting keepers to their demise.

He's studied our ways...He knows what Ts are the best bait to lure in his unsuspecting prey. "Come arachnophiles, I have A. bicoloratum!"

Maybe he misspelled bitcoin for bicoloratum, but that’s most unlikely...

Update: Finally got in contact with the seller, and it's still on! They've agreed to meet me halfway, so I only have a 2 hour round-trip drive instead of a 4-hour one. Can't wait till Saturday!

I can so relate to that ‘can’t wait’ feeling!
