My first tarantula I ever purchased hooked out after 3 months of owning him. His Mature molt date is August 22. He still eats and drinks, his last sperm web was December sometime and it was his 10th one, (he was paired with a MF curly hair in October between his 4th and 5th sperm webs and again after his 8th in November, I'm not sure if it effects his life expectancy) he is very active still. If there is anything I can do to help him live longer I'll do it, I'm not really ready to lose my first tarantula.

As long as he still eats/drinks and he doesn't attempt another molt (hooks and palps wont make it) he can live quite awhile. Every species and individual is different. I had a MM G. porteri go 3 years after maturing. Dwarfs seem to be the shortest lived MM's some only a few months...sigh

Depends on the species, but for most it's usually 1-2 years.

My B. albopilosum MM lived around 5.5 years after maturity, but he’s likely an outlier. 1-2 is probably more average.
