LOL!

Sometimes, they never lay eggs at all. Mating her does not mean she will lay an egg sac for you. She wll store the sperm until she molts, when it would be shed. If she has molted since you bred her, there is no chance of an egg sac and she will have to be bred again.

there is as the spider might make a phantom eggsac but in this case there is no chance of a fertile eggsac though.;) ;P

P. regalis takes less than 6 mins to lay her eggs.

if you dont season your spiders they will not get the triggers to tell tham when to lay thier eggsacs. Get a book on the climate of Chile.

We know the sac will be infertile because in the process of shedding, she will shed the sperm she is holding as well. A good indicator of a female being gravid will be her getting fat, even when you do not feed. Although you should be feeding her to give her energy to make the sac, so you should notice if you are feeding her adequately, but she is putting on more girth than usual. As far as the time, it varies from species to species. Take a look at the breeding section and some people say how long their sacs took. Thats all i can offer, i have never mated tarantulas, except for sending off some of my boys. Oh yes, please do not "shout".
